15 NGOs, among which SolidarityNow, organize an event entitled “Together” for the World Refugee Day. The event will take place in the garden café of the Numismatic Museum on June 21st at 18.30. The objective of the event is to listen the refugees themselves; During the event, the beneficiaries of the NGOs will narrate the next day, that of integration, the difficulties that they faced concerning their adjustment, as well as their hopes. Among the refugees who will present their story will be the family of Alhajji Abdulkarim, the father of six children, who live in an independent flat in Athens, in the framework of the Hosting Scheme Project.
