Responsibilities

  • Formalize and consolidate SN’s nationwide network of employers, across sector areas
  • Conduct outreach to approach private companies and identify ways of cooperation
  • Communicate regularly with private companies, in order to map their staffing needs and inform them about potential candidates for employment
  • Cooperate with SN Employability Officers and inform them about vacancies announced through SN employers’ network
  • Contribute to the establishment of a fruitful cooperation between SN and private companies and enhance companies’ integration to SN employers’ network
  • Promote companies’ compliance with and respect of human values and principles
  • Promote a culture of tolerance, diversity, and inclusion within the employers’ network (through the preparation of SOPs, trainings, production of info material, etc.)
  • Raise awareness about the benefits of a diverse and multicultural workplace
  • Closely collaborate with SN employability services to improve the percentage of successful employment matches of SN employability services
  • Participate in, and organize, events and activities (e.g., job fairs) with a focus on coordinating the enrolment of cooperating companies/ employers
  • Support the integration of companies in SN employers’ network through the preparation of relevant documents (e.g., Memorandum of Understanding)
  • Prepare strategy plan for approaching businesses (methodological tool preparation, informative material etc.)
  • Conduct trainings/ info session related to accessing the labor market, with a focus on women of disadvantaged background
  • Prepare communication materials to inform about collaborations with the private sector, as well as stories to promote and raise awareness about our work.

Required qualifications and skills

  • Degree in Humanities/Psychology/Social Work/Political Sciences or Economics
  • 2-3 years working experience as employability or business consultant
  • Proven working experience in collaborating with individuals of disadvantaged backgrounds, especially women
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of labor law and work conditions in Greece
  • Well organized and efficient
  • Good interpersonal, team-working & communications skills
  • Result-oriented and able to work autonomously
  • Fluent in Greek and English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong digital skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications
