In 2019, SolidarityNow initiated its partnership with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the design and implementation of an integration program for recognised refugees. The project offers Greek language classes, housing benefit and support to access the labor market.
SolidarityNow as an implementing partner, provides Greek language and soft skills courses to the participants, with the aim of empowering them by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to live in Greece and integrate more easily into the local community.
Through the HELIOS project, SolidarityNow has undertaken the operation of three Integration Learning Centers (ILCs) in Athens, Thessaloniki and Ioannina, while in collaboration with the organizations OMNES and Perichoresis two more ILCs operate in Katerini and Kilkis respectively.
