Marilyn Polena, <\/strong>General Manager<\/p>\n

\n

Marilyn Polena is a development economist, with extended experience in the area programme development and management, resource mobilisation and strategic development in the humanitarian and development fields. Marilyn was previously the Director of Programmes for SolidarityNow where she was responsible for the design and implementation of the organisation\u2019s programmes and partnerships, overseeing interventions across Greece. Marilyn has worked in the field in Greece and internationally, spending several years leading multi-sectoral development programmes in northern Mozambique. Earlier Marilyn worked in development and finance institutions, notably the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development where she focused on project finance for Central Europe and the Baltics. Marilyn holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics with Management Studies from Sussex University in the UK and a postgraduate degree in Development Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.<\/p>\n
