<\/p>\n

The programme \u201cClassrooms against Bullying \u2013 CAB\u201d,<\/strong> Exchange of knowledge and best practices to prevent discrimination, bullying and violence in schools, while enabling the inclusion of all children in the education system<\/strong>, is a collaboration between SolidarityNow (SN) and the Norwegian resource center European Wergeland Centre<\/a> (EWC), aiming to cement a bilateral partnership for the promotion of safe and inclusive schools in Greece and is implemented under the \u201cLocal Development and Poverty Reduction\u201d programme.*<\/p>\n

The programme\u2019s duration is October 2023 – August 2024 and aims to develop an approach to prevent bullying and violence in Greek schools, and promote the integration of all children, regardless of their background and vulnerability. The approach will be developed through the exchange of good practices, practical experiences, and knowledge.<\/p>\n

All the above will be distilled into a publication, widely disseminated to the Greek school community, and accompanied by a relevant training delivered in vivo in Athens to Greek members of the public school system (including teachers, school administrators, school social workers and psychologists, regional educational advisors, and refugee education coordinators). Beyond the immediate goals of this collaboration, the project aims to build a strong bilateral partnership for further targeted work on inclusive education.<\/p>\n

About \u201cLocal Development and Poverty Reduction\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The \u201cLocal Development and Poverty Reduction\u201d programme in Greece, financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, was awarded a total budget of 6,5 million euros as part of the EEA Grants 2014 \u2013 2021. The program aspires to contribute to enhancement of social cohesion and reduction of economic and social disparities. The Fund Operator for the Local Development and Poverty Reduction in Greece is SOL Consulting S.A in partnership with HumanRights360.<\/em><\/p>\n
