{"id":10316,"date":"2021-04-19T12:33:52","date_gmt":"2021-04-19T12:33:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=10316"},"modified":"2021-04-19T12:33:52","modified_gmt":"2021-04-19T12:33:52","slug":"english-it-system-network-administrator-it-officer-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/english-it-system-network-administrator-it-officer-3\/","title":{"rendered":"[:en]IT System \/ Network Administrator (IT Officer)[:]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date:\u00a0ASAP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:\u00a0 Full Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy: Level 3 \u2013 The job holder will not have regular contact with children<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To: <\/strong>IT Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>We are looking for a System \/ Network Administrator to maintain and manage our Software, Hardware and Networks infrastructure.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The ideal candidate will be able to deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor all active network equipment to ensure that our organization technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Install and configure software and hardware for servers and workstations.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Manage network servers and technology tools<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Set up workstations, user accounts, permissions, and passwords (Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Dynamic CRM)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Troubleshoot issues and outages<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Support and resolve problems reported by users<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Upgrade systems and workstations with new releases and models<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Proven experience in a System \/ Network Administrator role<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Hands on experience in networking, routing, and switching<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of IT infrastructure<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN\u2019s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Written and verbal communication skills, both in\u00a0Greek and English languages<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Ability to work well within an IT professional team<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Background <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>BSc\/Ba in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Professional certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CISCO Certifications) considered as a plus.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>3+ years of relevant working exposure<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Driving license <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to <a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>IT System \/ Network Administrator (IT Officer)_Thessaloniki<\/strong><strong>\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
