You will also assist with the monthly closings and account analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform accounting entries, update ledgers and reconcile accounts<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation and coordination of the audit process, as well as the internal financial controls and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all assigned reconciliations are prepared and reviewed accurately<\/li>\n<li>Communicate on a regular basis with vendors, reconciling accounts and following up on payments<\/li>\n<li>Support month-end and year-end process and financial reports<\/li>\n<li>Filling<\/li>\n<li>Ad hoc requests, as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications <\/strong><strong>and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting and\/or Finance<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with ERP (Navision experience preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Greek GAAP (IFRS would be a plus)<\/li>\n<li>Excellent use of MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English, both oral and written<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Able to perform under pressure and deliver results<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and teamwork skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to challenge processes and implement improved working methods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit in a single document their Resume\/CV with an introductory text in English to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cAssistant Accountant\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
