Work in close cooperation with the project staff, key stakeholders, other departments, and partners, and in compliance with all contractual obligations towards the donor and in accordance with the SolidarityNow SOPs.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises and provides guidance to a team of employability consultants.<\/li>\n<li>Submit progress reports as needed, externally and internally.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and motivate the team, monitor activities, and coordinate work.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the organization. Support problem-solving related to employment issues, as well as practical and logistical challenges arising in the field.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with responsible staff on the development and execution of project plans and monitoring processes and results achieved against the project indicators.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the hiring process for project field staff, in collaboration with the HR department, per organizational HR policies and programmatic needs.<\/li>\n<li>Follow implementation plans and timetables.<\/li>\n<li>Submit progress reports as needed, externally and internally.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and motivate the team, monitor activities, and coordinate work.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Employment Consultants to coordinate the design of a curriculum tailored to refugee needs and support its implementation through guidance and review when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partner organizations to guarantee implementation of activities and achievement of results as specified in grant agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Employ resourcefulness in project implementation and monitoring. Identify and suggest creative solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct field visits on a regular basis, and work and participate in field activities on an ad hoc basis.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other task related to the implementation of the project as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the field teams with the overall planning of the assigned project\u2019s activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 4-5 years previous experience as employability coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Excellent case management skills to deliver a quality service to a large total caseload<\/li>\n<li>Well organized, structured, and self-disciplined, with excellent time-management skills<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment experience will be considered as an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Very strong interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Good networking and relationship management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the employability market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education in the career development, education, social service and\/or human service-related field<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience (at least 4-5 years) providing career and employment-based case-managed services.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience on coordination of projects, teams, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of employment support for refugees and migrants<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience of Greek Employment Law as it relates to this type of service and role<\/li>\n<li>Experience with NGO environment practices<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with MS Office<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of French will be an asset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to <a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject \u201c<strong>SN Project Coordinator_\u00a0Thessaloniki<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
