The RSC Facilitator must cultivate an atmosphere of respect and appreciation among children and respect the skills and cultural background of each. He\/ She should promote fair play, collaboration, and critical thinking. He\/She is finally responsible for the supervision of the space in which he\/she performs his\/her duties during working hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the Recreational Space for Children<\/li>\n<li>Design a variety of games and activities within the Recreational Space catering to the needs of children of different ages, genders, abilities and cultures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that children feel comfortable, safe, and respected<\/li>\n<li>Liaise\u00a0with\u00a0parents\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0community\u00a0regularly\u00a0to\u00a0keep\u00a0them\u00a0informed\u00a0of any developments or problems within the Recreational Space and surrounding areas<\/li>\n<li>Screen for and monitor protection needs and gaps in and around the Recreational Space<\/li>\n<li>Ensure activities consistent with program guidelines<\/li>\n<li>Perform administrative procedures related to the activities in the RSC<\/li>\n<li>Other tasks as requested by her\/his line manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Social Sciences \/Primary Education (i.e., Education, Psychology, Social Work, etc)<\/li>\n<li>At least one (1) year experience in working with migrant\/refugee children<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English.
