S\/he reports to the Project Coordinator and cooperates with all department, HQs and projects staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monitoring and Data Collection<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducts primary data collection, including interviews, surveys, and focus group discussions, upon request and according to the general and project-specific M&amp;E plan, and in cooperation with Project Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Collects data on a regular basis to measure achievement against the performance indicators, and prepares relevant statistics, i.e. students\u2019 attendance, teaching hours, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Compiles projects and activities\u2019 data and informs the relevant database and collection tool.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in data quality assurance and managing data according to internal and donor standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Evaluation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures visibility and accountability material are in place and used.<\/li>\n<li>Supports field teams on how to collect and analyze relevant project information.<\/li>\n<li>Supports staff to ensure that projects are carried out with participation from beneficiaries and that information is shared with beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates the review of survey reports prepared to ensure quality and accurate reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follows confidentiality and security procedures to ensure respondent privacy is protected.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains contact with beneficiaries\/target groups (receive requests, provide task-related information, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Drafts reports and prepares statistics and other information as requested by the project coordinator and donor.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out capacity building activities and trainings relating to quality data collection and reporting for project staff<\/li>\n<li>Participates to any other task to achieve the project\u2019s objectives, including admin tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 years\u2019 experience in similar position<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with NGOs and\/or client-oriented services.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and knowledge of the humanitarian context and civil society environment in Greece.<\/li>\n<li>University Degree in Humanities, Education, Political Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Statistics and\/or related field.<\/li>\n<li>High computer literacy especially EXCEL.<\/li>\n<li>Database management experience.<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge of the two following languages: Greek, English.<\/li>\n<li>Respect of humanitarian principles.<\/li>\n<li>Field experience working with refugees\/migrants and\/or other vulnerable groups would be appreciated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cM&amp;E Officer _ Thessaloniki\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
