{"id":12642,"date":"2023-01-27T09:22:41","date_gmt":"2023-01-27T09:22:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=12642"},"modified":"2023-01-27T09:22:41","modified_gmt":"2023-01-27T09:22:41","slug":"farsi_dari_urdu-interpreter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/farsi_dari_urdu-interpreter\/","title":{"rendered":"FARSI_DARI_URDU  INTERPRETER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting Date:<strong>\u00a0ASAP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Status:<strong>\u00a0 Full Time \u2013 Part Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy: Level 3 \u2013 The job holder will have regular contact with children<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Languages:\u00a0 Fluent in Farsi, Dari and Urdu<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Intercultural Mediation -Interpretation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mediate with beneficiaries while briefings or sessions are conducted<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and precise information is passed to the beneficiaries in an understandable and culturally acceptable way<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Data base and Case related info management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Filling and registering all appointments to the DataBase upon instructions of the supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Maintain hard and electronic files archive updated<\/li>\n<li>Perform entries in the data base system as required by the above mentioned tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Duties <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in Field Trips and Assessments as requested and directed by Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Brief and debrief beneficiaries for running programs availability and inform for any relevant change<\/li>\n<li>Accompany team members in occasional field visits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications-Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent in Fluent in Farsi\/Dari and Urdu<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in Greek or English<\/li>\n<li>Previous Experience in Relevant Position<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Refugee and Migration Issues (Asylum processes, Relocation \u2013new Law)<\/li>\n<li>Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate &amp; numerate<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal &amp; communications skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field Working Experience entry points, Camps\/Temporary Settlement or mobile units serving refugee population<\/li>\n<li>Proven Engagement in Refugee Focused Projects (e.g Assessments, Surveys, Missions in Islands or to the borders)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit in a single document their Resume\/CV with an introductory text in English to:<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\"> recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cFarsi_Dari_Urdu Interpreter_Athens\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
