{"id":12984,"date":"2023-03-06T14:38:28","date_gmt":"2023-03-06T14:38:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=12984"},"modified":"2023-03-06T14:38:28","modified_gmt":"2023-03-06T14:38:28","slug":"accountant-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/accountant-2\/","title":{"rendered":"ACCOUNTANT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date<\/strong>: ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0 Part Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy:\u00a0<\/strong>Level 1 \u2013 The job holder does not have regular contact with children<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Provision of Accountancy Support and Guidance <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct Sessions with beneficiaries requiring advice and support on very basic accountancy issues<\/li>\n<li>Guide beneficiaries for issuing Tax Related Certificates of Taxation Numbers Registration<\/li>\n<li>Mediate with relevant authorities (in exceptional cases)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Data base and Case related info management<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Filling and registering all cases and actions to the DataBase upon instructions of the supervisor (Project Coordinator)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain hard and electronic files archive updated<\/li>\n<li>Perform entries in the data base system as required by the above<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Mentioned tasks<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><em>Other Duties <\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Collaborate with appointed persons for CASH Support, Accommodation, in kind aid or any other additional provision available<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Brief and debrief beneficiaries for running programs availability and inform for any relevant change<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and facilitate their access to available aid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Essential <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Accountancy or extended experience (+ 3 Years) in an accountancy office<\/li>\n<li>At least 1 year of Previous Experience in providing accountancy support<\/li>\n<li>Briefly familiar with Refugee and Migration Taxation Issues<\/li>\n<li>Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate &amp; numerate<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal &amp; communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in Greek and English<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Desired<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in NGO Providing Humanitarian Aid or relevant volunteer or professional Service in the Social Services<\/li>\n<li>French Speaking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cPart-Time Accountant_ Thessaloniki\u2019\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
