{"id":13539,"date":"2023-07-21T14:19:42","date_gmt":"2023-07-21T14:19:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=13539"},"modified":"2023-07-24T13:20:39","modified_gmt":"2023-07-24T13:20:39","slug":"athens-solidarity-center-asc-psychologist-psychotherapist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/athens-solidarity-center-asc-psychologist-psychotherapist\/","title":{"rendered":"ATHENS SOLIDARITY CENTER (ASC)  PSYCHOLOGIST \/ PSYCHOTHERAPIST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date: <\/strong>ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status: <\/strong>Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy: <\/strong>Level 3 \u2013 Job holder will have regular contact with children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To: <\/strong>Senior Psychologist\u00a0<strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Overview<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Psychologist \/ Psychotherapist provides psychosocial support to beneficiaries of the Athens Solidarity Centre and specialized counselling.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide psychosocial support to beneficiaries of the Athens Solidarity Centre.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure referrals internally and externally, including GBV referrals.<\/li>\n<li>Complete psychological intake of beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Identify vulnerabilities and facilitate their access to available aid, with particular attention to different vulnerabilities of men, women, boys, and girls.<\/li>\n<li>Establishing and leading group sessions, based on needs identified.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of internal reports and collection and uploading of case information in ASC database.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure smooth cooperation and collaboration with other psychological services, both within SolidarityNow and with other organisations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree (preferably Master\u2019s) from an accredited academic institution, in Psychology or relevant social science with long standing experience in similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and willingness to promote gender equality and understand different vulnerabilities, needs and capacities of men, women, boys and girls.<\/li>\n<li>Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate &amp; numerate.<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal &amp; communications skills.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and Greek (both written and spoken).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cASC Psychologist_ Athens\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
