{"id":13872,"date":"2023-10-02T11:30:18","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T11:30:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=13872"},"modified":"2023-10-02T11:30:18","modified_gmt":"2023-10-02T11:30:18","slug":"interpeter-farsi-dari-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/interpeter-farsi-dari-2\/","title":{"rendered":"INTERPETER \u2013 Farsi\/Dari"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Location: Thessaloniki (Blue Refugee Center and Roving)<\/p>\n<p>Starting Date: ASAP<\/p>\n<p>Status: Full Time\/ Fixed-term<\/p>\n<p>Child Safeguarding Policy: Level 3 \u2013 Job holders will have regular contact with children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To: <\/strong>BRC Coordinator<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides clear and accurate interpretation services, for beneficiaries of international protection;<\/li>\n<li>Provides clear and accurate interpretation services, during informative sessions, briefings, trainings, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Provides written translation of documents to English or Greek;<\/li>\n<li>In coordination with other team colleagues, participates in field-trips and other external activities;<\/li>\n<li>In coordination with other team colleagues, ensures that all beneficiaries feel comfortable and safe to share their concerns freely, as well as participate in classes and other educational activities;<\/li>\n<li>Respects the code of conduct of the organization, with emphasis on confidentiality;<\/li>\n<li>Performs other position-related duties as assigned by the respective Coordinator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent command of <strong>Farsi\/Dari<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of Greek and\/or English language<\/li>\n<li>Minimum two-year professional experience as an interpreter or cultural mediator<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with protection issues related to refugee population.<\/li>\n<li>High professional ethics<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and observation skills, including ability to create trust, support and respect.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations in multi-ethnic environment; Cross Culturally Aware and flexible.<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient, flexible, able to handle pressure well and adapt in different working environments.<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment\">thes-recruitment<\/a>@solidaritynow.org\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cInterpreter Farsi\/Dari_ Thessaloniki\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
