{"id":13874,"date":"2023-10-04T07:15:56","date_gmt":"2023-10-04T07:15:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=13874"},"modified":"2023-10-04T07:15:56","modified_gmt":"2023-10-04T07:15:56","slug":"employability-officer-private-sector-liaison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/employability-officer-private-sector-liaison\/","title":{"rendered":"EMPLOYABILITY OFFICER \u2013 PRIVATE SECTOR LIAISON"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date:<\/strong> ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong> Part-Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to: <\/strong>Employability Service Coordinator<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Level 1- <\/strong>The job holder does not have contact with children<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Formalize and consolidate SN\u2019s nationwide network of employers, across sector areas<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Conduct outreach to approach private companies and identify ways of cooperation<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Communicate regularly with private companies, in order to map their staffing needs and inform them about potential candidates for employment<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Cooperate with SN Employability Officers and inform them about vacancies announced through SN employers\u2019 network<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Contribute to the establishment of a fruitful cooperation between SN and private companies and enhance companies\u2019 integration to SN employers\u2019 network<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Promote companies\u2019 compliance with and respect of human values and principles<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Promote a culture of tolerance, diversity, and inclusion within the employers\u2019 network (through the preparation of SOPs, trainings, production of info material, etc.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Raise awareness about the benefits of a diverse and multicultural workplace<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Closely collaborate with SN employability services to improve the percentage of successful employment matches of SN employability services <\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Participate in<\/em><em>,<\/em> <em>and organize<\/em><em>,<\/em> <em>events and activities (e.g., job fairs) with a focus on coordinating the enrolment of cooperating companies\/ employers<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Support the integration of companies in SN employers\u2019 network through the preparation of relevant documents (e.g., Memorandum of Understanding)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Prepare strategy plan for approaching businesses (methodological tool preparation, informative material etc.)<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Conduct trainings\/ info session related to accessing the labor market<\/em><em>, <\/em><em>with a focus on women of disadvantaged background<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Prepare communication materials to inform about collaborations with the private sector<\/em><em>,<\/em><em> as well as stories to promote and raise awareness about our work<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Humanities\/Psychology\/Social Work\/Political Sciences or Economics<\/li>\n<li>2-3 years working experience as employability or business consultant<\/li>\n<li>Proven working experience in collaborating with individuals of disadvantaged backgrounds, especially women<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge and understanding of labor law and work conditions in Greece<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal, team-working &amp; communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Result-oriented and able to work autonomously<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in Greek and English (both written and spoken)<\/li>\n<li>Strong digital skills, familiar with Microsoft Office applications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Interested candidates should submit in a single document their Resume\/CV with an introductory text in English to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<strong><u>October\u00a015<\/u><\/strong><strong><u><sup>th<\/sup><\/u><\/strong><strong><u>, 2023<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cEMPLOYABILITY OFFICER \u2013 PRIVATE SECTOR LIAISON\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
