She\/He will produce and publicize content (traditional and digital) while develop and implement a strong media and social media presence to meet the growing operational and communicational needs of the organization.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting the implementation of the SolidarityNow communication strategy<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to Communications activities and Plan of Action developed per program (deliverables, reporting)<\/li>\n<li>Writing Press Releases regarding the organization\u2019s news, accomplishments, and initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Support the writing and production of all SN online and offline publications (including design and printing), such as: e-Newsletter, Annual Activity Report, leaflets, project brochures etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Support the production of audiovisual materials for communications purposes<\/li>\n<li>Support media relations (pitching, enquiries, liaising with colleagues and key spokespersons)<\/li>\n<li>Support with the organization of events \u2013 including setting up, planning, invitations, procurement of items and the operation on the day.<\/li>\n<li>Update content and improve functionality of SN\u2019s website and social media<\/li>\n<li>Support the overall communications plan with new ideas and proposals<\/li>\n<li>Developing press stories related to SN projects\/grants aiming to maximizing opportunities for positive publicity<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to the updating of the website\/social media information operational-wise (promotion of SN projects)<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to reporting preparation (publicity report, press clipping report, annual report and statistics, reports to donors etc)<\/li>\n<li>Carry out other general communications tasks that may arise in the Communications Team (translations, meetings, awareness campaigns, special events, conferences etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your\u00a0CV and motivation letter to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the\u00a0email subject \u201cCommunications Officer\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
