This Christmas, Eurolife FFH<\/strong> is joining forces once again with SolidarityNow<\/strong> to ensure the continuation of the successful “MAMA”<\/strong> program throughout 2024<\/strong>. The program, launched in 2023 and ran throughout the year in Thessaloniki, aimed to support and empower new and expectant mothers from vulnerable social groups <\/strong>to better respond to their new life roles. The initiative gained widespread acceptance and exceeded expectations in terms of participation, leading to the decision to extend it for a second consecutive year.<\/p>\n “MAMA” includes an integral set of services and activities<\/strong>, through which its beneficiaries and their partners can receive scientific information on critical issues, professional support, and empowerment, to guide new parents with confidence through their initial steps in parenthood.<\/p>\n To date, more than 210 new and expectant parents have benefited<\/strong> from the diverse range of program activities, which encompass over 75 personal and group sessions<\/strong> conducted by experts, both in person and online. The sessions cover essential topics such as the preparation of pregnant women, issues related to the development of preschoolers, nutrition, and parenting.<\/p>\n Additionally, the program has organized 3 group activities and labs<\/strong> in Thessaloniki, 5 Instagram live sessions featuring professional experts discussing several topics, and 2 book labs hosted at local bookstores, serving as spaces for meaningful conversations and the exchange of opinions among participants.<\/p>\n With the sustained support of Eurolife FFH<\/strong> for a second consecutive year,<\/strong> the “MAMA” program is poised to expand its impact throughout 2024, embracing even more mothers and new parents. The program will be enriched through additional informative activities featuring health professionals and partnerships with other bodies dedicated to support vulnerable groups.
