{"id":14326,"date":"2024-02-14T10:50:17","date_gmt":"2024-02-14T10:50:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=14326"},"modified":"2024-02-14T11:42:49","modified_gmt":"2024-02-14T11:42:49","slug":"social-worker-8-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/social-worker-8-2\/","title":{"rendered":"[:el]\u039a\u039f\u0399\u039d\u03a9\u039d\u0399\u039a\u039f\u03a3 \u0395\u03a0\u0399\u03a3\u03a4\u0397\u039c\u039f\u039d\u0391\u03a3[:en]SOCIAL SCIENTIST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>Starting Date: ASAP<\/p>\n<p>Status: Full Time \u2013 Fixed term<\/p>\n<p>Child Safeguarding Policy: Level 1 \u2013 Job holder will have no contact with children.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Job Overview<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SN is seeking a qualified and experienced social scientist, who will collaborate with the National Center for Social Solidarity (\u0395.\u039a.\u039a.\u0391.) as part of the project \u201cPROCAP \/ PROtection of victims of trafficking, CAPacity building and support to key stakeholders\u201d aiming to establish a robust system of protection and support for third country nationals (TCN) who are trafficking victims, while promoting updates knowledge on trafficking prevention and identification through a gender and child-sensitive approach.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mapping of the current situation in the network for the protection of victims of trafficking groups;<\/li>\n<li>Mobilization of psychosocial intervention units<\/li>\n<li>Update of relevant training tools<\/li>\n<li>Drafting or updating of operating procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Essential<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree (preferably Master\u2019s) from an accredited academic institution, in Social Scientists (Social Work, Law, Sociology, Social Anthropology, Psychology).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum two years of experience in relevant field in projects serving vulnerable groups, especially victims of trafficking, refugee and migrant population;<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of human rights\/protection work, especially of vulnerable social groups;<\/li>\n<li>Awareness and ability to work with victims of trafficking and survivors of Gender-based Violence and the sensitivities and confidentiality measures that this involves.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal, teamworking &amp; communications skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to organize and prioritize workload using initiative when appropriate;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills \u2013 confidence with IT tools and software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Desired<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous work within an NGO context is highly desirable;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the legal framework for victims of human trafficking;<\/li>\n<li>Previous employment in the field of protection of victims of human trafficking;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cSocial Scientist_ Athens_PROCAP\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
