The ideal candidate may be able to work under fast-track conditions and meet deadlines, under the guidelines and supervision of the Finance &amp; HR Director.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Main Responsibilities and Duties<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support financial administration.<\/li>\n<li>Perform financial monitoring of programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Perform the day-to-day processing of financial transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Receive and verify invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain all financial records and files as per SN\u2019s policies.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of financial reports and statements in cooperation with the Accountancy &amp; Reporting Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Data entry of reports, audits, board minutes, etc as required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Other ad-hoc tasks, including administrative support, as occurs by the needs of the Finance department.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree from an accredited academic institution in Economics\/Accountancy;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in similar position for at least 1 year, preferably in NGO context;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English language;<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal &amp; communications skills;<\/li>\n<li>Sound work ethics;<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient;<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and work under pressure;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team;<\/li>\n<li>Strong IT skills (excel, word, internet, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience with NGOs;<\/li>\n<li>Experience of monitoring of funded projects;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in drawing up financial statements, budgets and reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject \u201c<strong>Finance &amp; Administrative Assistant Officer <\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
