Main Duties & Responsibilities<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Provides clear and accurate interpretation services, during individual sessions with the beneficiaries (e.g. for employability counselling).<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Provides clear and accurate interpretation services, during informative sessions, briefings, trainings etc.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Provides written translation of documents to Farsi-Dari.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 In coordination with other team colleagues, participates in fieldtrips and other external activities when required.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Accompanies beneficiaries -when necessary- to public services.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 In coordination with other team colleagues, ensures that all beneficiaries feel comfortable and safe to share their concerns freely.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Respects the code of conduct of the organization, with emphasis on confidentiality.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Welcomes beneficiaries in a professional and friendly way.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Provides interpretation services through phone calls or remotely, when needed.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Performs other position-related duties as assigned by the respective Project Coordinator.<\/p>\n

Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent command of Farsi-Dari.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent command of Greek and\/or English language.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Minimum one-year professional experience as an interpreter or cultural mediator.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Familiar with protection issues related to refugee population.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 High professional ethics.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent interpersonal, communication, listening and observation skills, including ability to create trust, support and respect.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations in multi-ethnic environment; Cross Culturally Aware and flexible.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong team player.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Well organized and efficient, flexible, able to handle pressure well and adapt in different working environments.<\/p>\n

Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 Previous working experience with local or international NGOs will be considered an asset.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Field Working Experience in Camps\/Temporary Settlements of refugee\/migrant population.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Computer literacy.<\/p>\n
