{"id":15742,"date":"2024-12-24T11:14:34","date_gmt":"2024-12-24T11:14:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=15742"},"modified":"2024-12-24T11:14:34","modified_gmt":"2024-12-24T11:14:34","slug":"meal-officer-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/meal-officer-2\/","title":{"rendered":"MEAL OFFICER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting Date: ASAP<\/p>\n<p>Status: Fixed term\/Full Time<\/p>\n<p>Child Safeguarding Policy: Level 3 \u2013 The job holder will have regular contact with children.<\/p>\n<p>Reports To: Project Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Monitoring and Data Collection<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compiles project and activity data and informs the relevant database and collection tools.<\/li>\n<li>Conducts primary data collection, including interviews, surveys, and focus group discussions under the guidance of SN MEAL Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares data for donors and internal reporting, drafting relevant sections.<\/li>\n<li>Carries out data validation for data analysis and reporting requirements according to the organizational monitoring standards.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the information collected is secured according to data protection guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Research and Evaluation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supports field teams to collect and analyze relevant project information.<\/li>\n<li>Carries out desk research and literature reviews for issues of concern.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Accountability<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that the procedures of the Concern Response and Feedback Mechanism are followed.<\/li>\n<li>Activates the mechanism whenever is appropriate and provides guidance to the field staff according to the guidelines of the policy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adheres to confidentiality and security procedures, ensuring protection of privacy.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares user-friendly data analyses and presentations.<\/li>\n<li>Other tasks, including administrative support, as requested by line manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree from an accredited academic institution, in relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organization, verbal, and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of working in a fast-paced working environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word business software.<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with databases \u2013 design, management.
