The ideal candidate may be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, under the guidelines and supervision of the Director of Finance &amp; HR.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Main Responsibilities and Duties<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support financial administration.<\/li>\n<li>Perform financial monitoring of programs.<\/li>\n<li>Perform financial and accounting monitoring and control of the partner.<\/li>\n<li>Perform the day-to-day processing of financial transactions.<\/li>\n<li>Receive and verify invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain all financial records and files as per SN\u2019s policies.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues (SN\u2019s and partner\u2019s).<\/li>\n<li>Data entry of reports, audits, etc. as required.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain confidential information discreetly and protect employee privacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Qualifications\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree from an accredited academic institution in Accountancy and Finance.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in similar position for at least 3 years, preferably in NGO context.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in carrying out accounting tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English language.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal &amp; communications skills.<\/li>\n<li>Sound work ethics.<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient.<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility, accuracy and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.<\/li>\n<li>Strong IT skills (excel, word, internet, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience with NGOs;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in financial monitoring of projects;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in drawing up financial statements, budgets and reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject \u201c<strong>IMPLEMENTING PARNTER FINANCE CONTROLER_ATHENS<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
