A true polyglot\u2014fluent in Arabic, French, Italian, and Greek\u2014he\u2019s a resilient and skilled man who takes life as it comes, saying simply, <em>\u201cC\u2019est la vie.\u201d<\/em><\/h4>\n<h4>For years, he worked successfully in Athens as a HVAC technician. <em>\u201cI\u2019m good at what I do,\u201d<\/em> he says with pride. <em>\u201cI love my work and people love me for it.\u201d <\/em>But then everything changed when a serious issue disrupted his life.<\/h4>\n<h4>Throughout his life in Greece, Noureddine faced the constant stress of renewing his residence permits, essential to live and work legally. When his life took a turn, he knew he needed a different path &#8211; one that would allow him to live without fear in Greece. That\u2019s when he turned to the Athens Solidarity Center for help.<\/h4>\n<h4>At the legal service, he shared his story, beginning with his signature phrase: <em>\u201cC\u2019est la vie.\u201d <\/em>\u00a0With support from the legal team, he applied for and received a residence permit on humanitarian grounds.<\/h4>\n<h4><em>\u201cMy lawyer at the Center is like family. I know that whatever I need, he\u2019ll be there to help.\u201d<\/em><\/h4>\n<h4>Today, Noureddine lives with dignity, supported by people who stand by him, just as any of us might need one day. <em>\u201cI didn\u2019t fully understand the word solidarity before,\u201d <\/em>he says.<em> \u201cNow I do.
