A key component is the piloting of the Triple P \u2013 Positive Parenting Program, an evidence-based intervention that equips parents with skills, confidence, and knowledge to support their children\u2019s development and wellbeing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The program is implemented by SolidarityNow in the regions of Attica, Central Macedonia, and Epirus and includes perinatal parenting support and support for parents of children aged 1\u201316 years. Activities include parenting seminars, group sessions, individual counselling, psychosocial support, and community outreach.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Position Summary<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The MEAL Officer will design, coordinate, and oversee the monitoring and evaluation framework of the program, ensuring accountability and learning across the three regions. S\/he will work closely with Parenting Practitioners and the Project Manager to ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting, and will produce consolidated reports for UNICEF. <\/strong><strong>Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) is critical to ensure the project\u2019s quality, impact, and alignment with UNICEF standards.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and roll out tools and systems to monitor program delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Train Parenting Practitioners on data collection and record-keeping.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely and accurate reporting of attendance, outreach, and outcomes from all sites.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct data analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to assess project outcomes and impact.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare mid-term and final evaluation inputs, highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned.<\/li>\n<li>Support the documentation of best practices for future scaling. Establish confidential feedback channels for parents and ensure safeguarding compliance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in social sciences, public health, statistics, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years\u2019 experience in M&amp;E or MEAL within NGOs, UN agencies, or health\/social projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent skills in data management, analysis, and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience with UN\/INGO donor reporting is a strong asset.<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cMEAL Officer _Athens or Thessaloniki\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
