She facilitates access and ensures overall smooth functioning of the space; she conducts tailored psychosocial activities, identifies protection needs and works with other team members in providing support (including referrals); she encourages the participation of women and girls in group and individual activities (including awareness-raising on SGBV issues, among other themes, and skills-building sessions), so as to facilitate their overall integration and wellbeing of beneficiaries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Responsibilities and Duties<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Create a safe and welcoming environment for female beneficiaries.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Maintain a comfortable and safe environment where women and girls can participate in psychosocial activities and receive appropriate support, including services for toddlers with their mothers.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Prepares and implements structured activities for women, girls and mother-child, including the design of weekly schedules and timetables, through a participatory approach, tailored to their needs, skills and cultural diversities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Identifies protection and other support needs and refers them to respective colleagues or\/and other service providers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Carries out awareness raising sessions focusing on gender issues\/GBV, Health\/Hygiene, Nutrition, Livelihoods, Skills-building etc. Other group activities may include informal trainings, group discussions, information-sharing, art therapy, leisure time activities, playtime etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Carries out community mobilization around the FFS by disseminating clear messages on its role and objectives<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Liaises with other service providers onsite and follows referral pathways, upon consent of the beneficiaries<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Keeps accurate attendance records and reports in a timely manner, following respective deadlines and procedures.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on setting.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Required Qualifications <\/strong><strong>and Skills<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Knowledge of Farsi<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Preferably holder of a bachelor\u2019s degree in Humanitarian\/Social\/ Psychology Sciences.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Experience working with vulnerable populations, particularly women and girls.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Knowledge of female-related issues and gender dynamics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ability to work in a multicultural environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sound work ethics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Well-organized and efficient.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fluency in Greek and English language (both written and spoken).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Knowledge of Frence is an asset.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Desired: <\/strong>Driving license on issue in Greece (category B) and at least 3 years of driving experience<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> <span style=\"color: #000000;\">mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cFFS Facilitator Farsi_ Thessaloniki Roving\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
