{"id":17141,"date":"2025-12-04T07:32:08","date_gmt":"2025-12-04T07:32:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=17141"},"modified":"2025-12-04T07:32:36","modified_gmt":"2025-12-04T07:32:36","slug":"social-worker-ffs-facilitator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/social-worker-ffs-facilitator\/","title":{"rendered":"SOCIAL WORKER\/FFS FACILITATOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting Date: ASAP<\/p>\n<p>Status: Full Time\/Fixed-term<\/p>\n<p>Child Safeguarding Policy: Level 3 \u2013 Job holder will have regular contact with children.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To: <\/strong><strong>Project Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Social Services Provision<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform regularly field visits to various locations<\/li>\n<li>Provide a safe, welcoming and supportive space for beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li>Plan, prepare and facilitate activities (workshops, group sessions, psychosocial support sessions or other community-oriented activities) aiming beneficiaries\u2019 empowerment<\/li>\n<li>Support communication and cultural or language mediation (community engagement activities)<\/li>\n<li>Engage in outreach activities to target communities or individuals, encourage and support their participation<\/li>\n<li>Identify needs, risks and vulnerabilities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure referrals internally and externally and follow up on referrals whilst always respecting confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Identify particularly vulnerable individuals\/groups and facilitate their access to available aid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Data base and Case related info management<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate and confidential records of beneficiary interactions and case progress.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare regular reports on activities and outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Other Duties<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with other actors in the area (public sector, NGOs and INGOs) to link the beneficiaries with the services needed<\/li>\n<li>Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Degree on Social Work<\/li>\n<li>Permission of Work<\/li>\n<li>Experience in social work within the civil society sector, preferably working with vulnerable groups and refugees\/migrants<\/li>\n<li>2 years\u2019 experience in relevant position (ex. in projects serving refugee women and migrant population)<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Refugee and Migration Issues<\/li>\n<li>Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate &amp; numerate<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal &amp; communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Native in Greek<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English (both written and spoken)<\/li>\n<li>Driving license category B<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Desired<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of French, Farsi or Arabic<\/li>\n<li>Field work experience, e.g. in camps or temporary settlements<\/li>\n<li>Interest and experience to work with vulnerable groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cSocial Worker_ Thessaloniki Roving\u2019\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
