Under the guidance of the Project Coordinator, he\/she will perform vigorous follow-up and directly participate in the implementation of various educational activities \u2013 particularly language training- aimed at supporting SolidarityNow\u2019s beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Generic responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide Greek language courses and intercultural education to adult refugees and migrants.<\/li>\n<li>Focus on the social and cultural context of Greece, the European way of life and basic labor rights in Greece.<\/li>\n<li>Teach job-specific vocabulary (terminology) related to key sectors such as construction, agriculture, tourism and others.<\/li>\n<li>Support the design and development of educational resources that address the integration needs of beneficiaries.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the distribution of teaching and learning materials.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor, track, and report on the progress of classes on a regular basis.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain effective filing systems, both digital and physical.<\/li>\n<li>Update and maintain effective workplans to ensure smooth implementation of activities.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare class materials, including lesson plans, and assess student progress.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings with other educators, partners and staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluency in both Greek and English (spoken and written)<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Greek Philology<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience teaching Greek as a foreign language, either in a paid or voluntary capacity<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in report writing<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office<\/li>\n<li>Valid driving license<\/li>\n<li>Clean criminal record<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to work in refugee camp settings<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in teaching Greek as a second or foreign language or Language Education for Refugees and Migrants or Intercultural Education or any other relevant field will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Certification of the\u00a0teaching\u00a0qualification\u00a0of Trainers\u00a0for Adults in non-formal education (attributed by National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications &amp; Vocational Guidance)<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Motivated, energetic, and capable of inspiring and engaging learners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of refugee population first language will be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitmen@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitmen@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>Greek language educator_ Serres\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
