{"id":1799,"date":"2017-03-02T14:30:33","date_gmt":"2017-03-02T14:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=1799"},"modified":"2017-03-02T14:31:19","modified_gmt":"2017-03-02T14:31:19","slug":"unicef-blue-dot-unit-team-leader","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/unicef-blue-dot-unit-team-leader\/","title":{"rendered":"UNICEF Blue Dot Unit Team Leader"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Position: UNICEF Blue Dot Unit Team Leader<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: 1 away from Athens<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting Date<\/strong>: ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0 Full Time<br \/>\n<strong>Main duties and Responsibilities: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the field team<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the day-to-day fieldwork<\/li>\n<li>In coordination with the Program Manager, review Program related correspondence and ensure interested parties are kept informed.<\/li>\n<li>Be responsible for logistics and organization during fieldwork<\/li>\n<li>Liaise the local, district and provincial authorities on issues regarding fieldwork<\/li>\n<li>Securely keep data regarding beneficiaries and utilization of services<\/li>\n<li>Provide a monthly-results report to the Project manager<\/li>\n<li>Participate in trainings and coordinate team members\u2019 participation in trainings<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the liaison with Project Manager and the Team<\/li>\n<li>Lead team and ensure that performance appraisal is ensured and distributed to the Project Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the evaluation follow SN policies and regulations and complies with contract terms and conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with and maintain Program records and files, and perform routine administrative tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with other site actors and coordinate offer of services according to needs<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to Site Team routine communications to SFO on details of the Program activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 2 years of team leadership and management experience with commitment to delivering timely and high quality reports.<\/li>\n<li>Background in NGO environment including sound knowledge of policy and system aspects.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the human rights, child protection gender equality and equity agendas.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with various stakeholders and express ideas and concepts in written and oral form.<\/li>\n<li>Commitment and willingness to work in a challenging environment and ability to produce quality work under limited guidance and supervision.<\/li>\n<li>Greek fluency required; proficiency in English highly preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel and Word business software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the <strong>email subject<\/strong> \u201cBlue Dot Team Leader\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
