{"id":1849,"date":"2017-03-10T09:20:05","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T09:20:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=1849"},"modified":"2017-03-10T09:20:05","modified_gmt":"2017-03-10T09:20:05","slug":"sn-employability-consultant","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/sn-employability-consultant\/","title":{"rendered":"SN Employability Consultant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Position: SN Employability Consultant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: Thessaloniki<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting Date<\/strong>: ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0 Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Main Responsibilities:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a diverse portfolio of cases to employment, providing a professional employability, job matching and career management service.<\/li>\n<li>Provide information, advice and guidance to the POCs on key knowledge areas including; CVs, Job Searching, Interview Skills coaching and Training\/Education, to enhance current and future employability.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse and understand current employment and related opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Use labour market information to research and build additional relationships with employers, creating further employment opportunities appropriate to the needs of the POCs base.<\/li>\n<li>Job match POCs with SN specific and\/or other vacancies and opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out detailed job analysis to understand and guide on reasonable adjustments to maximise the likelihood of successful and sustainable employment. service and encourage appropriate referrals.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a Management system, case notes and other electronic files and records to a high standard to ensure is documented in accordance with quality standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>\u0395ssential Skills &amp; Attributes:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Previous Supported Employment.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent case management skills to deliver a quality service to a large total caseload.<\/li>\n<li>Well organised, structured and self-disciplined, with excellent time-management skills<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment experience will be considered as an asset<\/li>\n<li>Very strong interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good networking and relationship management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Desirable Skills &amp; Attributes:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education in the career development, education, social service and\/or human service related field Previous experience providing career and employment-based case-managed services<\/li>\n<li>Experience of employment support for people with disabilities (physical and\/or mental health).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and experience of employment Law as it relates to this type of service and role<\/li>\n<li>Experience with NGO environment practises.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Programmes<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English<\/li>\n<li>Arabic\/ Farsi is desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to recruitment@solidaritynow.org mentioning in the email subject \u201c<strong>SN Employability Consultant<\/strong>_ <strong>Thessaloniki<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
