Building on SN\u2019s methodology of activating the \u201ceducational triangle\u201d of students, parents and teachers, the project delivers after-school and homework support in Roma-majority schools and settlements, inclusive education trainings for teachers and education stakeholders, Roma parental support groups, a participatory awareness-raising campaign, and a Policy Brief on Inclusive Education for Roma Children.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lead the project\u2019s overall educational approach, grounded in the \u201ceducational triangle\u201d of students, parents and teachers, ensuring that it is culturally sensitive, community-owned and adapted to each school context (Roma-majority and mixed schools).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Support the coordination of project activities, helping to ensure they are delivered on time and in line with project objectives, donor requirements, and SN policies and standards.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Design, oversee and contribute to the implementation of non-formal education activities (after-school and homework support), including methodology, content, learning materials and quality standards; ensure activities are child-friendly, interactive and based on experiential learning.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Define and lead the approach for engaging Roma parents and families, including the set-up and facilitation approach of the Roma parental support groups, to strengthen parental involvement and family\u2013school cooperation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Liaise with schools, school directors and teachers, support the selection of participating schools, and build trust and cooperation between schools and Roma communities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Contribute to the development of the Policy Brief on Inclusive Education for Roma Children, synthesising evidence from field activities, the Roma Advisory Board, teachers and parents and contribute to its dissemination activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Supervise, guide and support project staff and collaborators (e.g. educators, Roma Officer), monitoring the quality of service delivery and cooperate with the Roma Advisory Board, facilitating its meetings and ensuring its input meaningfully informs project design, implementation and advocacy.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including Roma-led and community organisations, municipalities, education authorities and relevant national and international actors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Oversee monitoring and data collection and prepare timely reports to donors.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ensure compliance with SN\u2019s Child Safeguarding Policy and child protection standards across all project activities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Proven professional experience in Roma education, e.g. designing or delivering educational programmes for Roma children and youth, working directly with Roma communities, families and schools (Mandatory Requirement).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">University degree (preferably Master\u2019s) from an accredited academic institution, preferably in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Minimum three (3) years of experience in managing or coordinating education or social inclusion projects, including planning, monitoring, reporting and team supervision.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Good knowledge of the Greek education system and of the barriers faced by Roma students (e.g. segregation, early school leaving, discrimination); familiarity with inclusive education standards and the National Roma Strategy is an asset.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Excellent writing skills; experience in drafting policy briefs, research or advocacy documents will be considered a strong asset.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Commitment to participatory approaches and to the meaningful participation of Roma people in decision-making.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Proficiency in Greek and English (written and spoken).
