{"id":1883,"date":"2017-03-16T14:37:42","date_gmt":"2017-03-16T14:37:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=1883"},"modified":"2017-03-16T14:37:42","modified_gmt":"2017-03-16T14:37:42","slug":"project-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/project-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Location: Thessaloniki<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong> <strong>Full Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee all project activities and be the main contact point for SN and the field staff<\/li>\n<li>Ensure project activities comply with the policies and regulations of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of project plans and monitoring processes.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for submitting activity reports.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and motivate the team and monitor activities and coordinate work.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures close collaboration and coordination with cooperating partners to guarantee implementation of activities and achievement of results as specified in grant agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Employs resourcefulness in project design, implementation and monitoring. Identifies and implements creative solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Skills and Experience:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 1 year practical experience in humanitarian response<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with the Humanitarian process<\/li>\n<li>Proven understanding and experience of advocacy and policy change work within a humanitarian context<\/li>\n<li>Proven skills in networking and relationship building<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and information gathering skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing and facilitation skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and representational skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work alone and on one\u2019s own initiative<\/li>\n<li>Cultural sensitivity<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of and commitment to humanitarian principles and action<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to recruitment@solidaritynow.org mentioning in the email subject \u201cSN Project Manager\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
