Specifically, the worker is concerned with educational and creative way underage beneficiaries, considering the special characteristics and present living conditions.<br \/>\nThe employee must cultivate an atmosphere of respect and appreciation among beneficiaries and respect the skills and cultural background of each. Should promote fair play, collaboration and critical thinking. The worker is finally responsible for the supervision of the space in which he performs his duties during working time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position within the Organization: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hierarchical Responsible: Macedonian Focal Point<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere within the Child Friendly Space<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a variety of games and activities within the Child Friendly Space, catering to the needs of children of different ages, genders, and abilities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that children feel comfortable, safe, and respected<\/li>\n<li>Liaise\u00a0with\u00a0parents\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0 community\u00a0 regularly\u00a0 to\u00a0 keep\u00a0 them\u00a0 informed\u00a0 of\u00a0 any developments or problems within the Child Friendly Space and surrounding areas<\/li>\n<li>Screen for and monitor protection needs and gaps in and around the Child Friendly Space<\/li>\n<li>Refer children for Child Protection case management, and nutritional or medical care or other appropriate services and support as required<\/li>\n<li>Ensure activities consistent with programme guidelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University Degree in Social Sciences (ie, Education, Psychology, Social Work etc)<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and facilitation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to adapt to changes in working environment<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to understanding of SN aims, values and principles<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Would be an asset<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Arabic or Farsi language skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience on working with migrant\/refugee children<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Essential<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 year experience in Relevant Position<\/li>\n<li>Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate &amp; numerate<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal &amp; communications skills<\/li>\n<li>English or Greek<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please fill send your CV and motivation letter to <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> by Tuesday, Friday 21th, 2017, mentioning in the email subject \u201cSN_Blue Dot Child Friendly Space Facilitator_BRC\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
