{"id":4424,"date":"2017-12-08T13:42:56","date_gmt":"2017-12-08T13:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=4424"},"modified":"2017-12-08T13:42:56","modified_gmt":"2017-12-08T13:42:56","slug":"interpreter-8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/interpreter-8\/","title":{"rendered":"[:el]\u0394\u03b9\u03b5\u03c1\u03bc\u03b7\u03bd\u03ad\u03b1\u03c2[:en]INTERPRETER[:]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>SN Interpreter (Bengali)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location: <\/strong>Thessaloniki, Greece<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:\u00a0<\/strong>Part-time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"92\"><strong>Level 3 <\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"356\">The job holder will have regular contact with children<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Interpretation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mediate with beneficiaries while briefings or sessions are conducted<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and precise information is passed to the beneficiaries in an understandable and culturally acceptable way.\u00a0<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Database and Case related info management<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Filling and registering all cases and actions to the Database upon instructions of the supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Maintain hard and electronic files archive updated<\/li>\n<li>Perform entries in the database system as required by the above<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in Field Trips and Assessments as requested and directed by Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Brief and debrief beneficiaries for running programs availability and inform for any relevant change<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and facilitate their access to available aid<\/li>\n<li>Accompany team members in occasional field visits \/FU visits to houses of beneficiaries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Essential<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent in Bengali<\/li>\n<li>Previous Experience in Relevant Position<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Refugee and Migration Issues<\/li>\n<li>Cross-Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate &amp; numerate<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal &amp; communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in Greek or in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Desired<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field Working Experience entry points, Camps\/Temporary Settlement or mobile units serving refugee population<\/li>\n<li>Proven Engagement in Refugee Focused Projects (e.g. Assessments, Surveys, Missions in Islands or to the borders).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Interested Candidates shall submit in a single document their Resume\/CV with an intro Text (motivation) in English:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\"><strong>recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/strong><\/a><strong> by <\/strong><strong><u>Wednesday, December 20, 2017<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Both the Document and the email shall have as title the <u>Job title<\/u> &amp;
