{"id":4586,"date":"2018-01-16T08:03:16","date_gmt":"2018-01-16T08:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=4586"},"modified":"2018-01-16T12:26:07","modified_gmt":"2018-01-16T12:26:07","slug":"payroll-specialist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/payroll-specialist\/","title":{"rendered":"Payroll Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Payroll Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Athens<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:\u00a0<\/strong>Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<table style=\"height: 77px;\" width=\"770\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"92\">\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"66\"><strong>Le<\/strong><strong>vel <\/strong><strong>1 <\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<td width=\"356\">The job holder does not have contact with children<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Main Mission: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The proper handling of the payroll process of the Association&#8217;s personnel.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Main Duties:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manages the data of the Association&#8217;s personnel related to demographics, employee\u2019s modifications and employee history<\/li>\n<li>Carries out the appropriate calculations in the Association\u2019s Payroll System &amp; issues the final Payroll State, which checks in detail.<\/li>\n<li>Issues and finalizes the Payroll Accounting Article. Together with the Accounting Article, also sends to the Association\u2019s accountant department aggregate monthly payroll statements &amp; statement of insurance funds, to enable the accountants to carry out their own audits and pay the final funds of public authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the implementation of the provisions of the Greek Labor and Insurance Legislation.<\/li>\n<li>Controls and processes the whole procedure (HRM payroll system, timesheets, ERGANI system-Public Authorities, etc.) of the leaving employee and is responsible for collecting the necessary signatures for the contract termination \/ withdrawal forms. Also ensures the \u201cclosure\u201d of the leaving employee\u2019s physical file.<\/li>\n<li>Checks, issues, and distributes the supplementary labor inspectorate statements for new recruits.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in continuous internal audits by our donors and\/or chartered accountants, by providing them the appropriate documentations for further checks.<\/li>\n<li>Manages workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.<\/li>\n<li>Files documents into appropriate files in a timely manner. File and maintains employment records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree from an accredited academic in Business administration or Economics preferably in Human Resource Management;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in similar position with Knowledge of the PYLON payroll System (Epsilonet)<\/li>\n<li>Very good knowledge of payroll functions and procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Confidentiality concerning financial and employee files skills;<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English language;<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal &amp; communications skills;<\/li>\n<li>Sound work ethics;<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient;<\/li>\n<li>Strong IT skills (excel, word, internet, etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested Candidates shall submit in a single document their Resume\/CV with an intro Text (motivation) in Greek or English:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> by Wednesday, January 31st, 2018, mentioning in the email subject \u201cSolidarityNow_Payroll\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Both the Document and the e mail shall have as title the \u2013 Job title-Location, followed by their Surname: example\u2026..Payroll_ Athens\u2013 Mantzouranis<\/p>\n<p>SolidarityNow is an equal opportunity employer.
