Provide legal assistance in administrative procedures regarding issuing of birth certificate, tax number, work permits etc., Handle the identified legal cases from the sites.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake legal cases and legally represent to the court<\/li>\n<li>Identify cases for strategic litigation<\/li>\n<li>Identify vulnerabilities and facilitate their access to available aid<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data base and Case related info management<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Brief and Full Legal History intake<\/li>\n<li>Maintain hard and electronic files archive updated<\/li>\n<li>Perform entries in the data base system as required by the aforementioned tasks<\/li>\n<li>Prepare activity and progress reports<\/li>\n<li><strong>Other Duties <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Represent Team in external Meetings and Working Groups as requested by Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Work with SN\u2019s mobile teams to provide basic outreach information on refugee legal rights to beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li>Brief beneficiaries for running programs availability and inform for any relevant change<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties, related to the basic Job Description as requested by the Supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Law Degree<\/li>\n<li>Lawyers Permission of Work<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years working experience in practicing Law (at least 2 years in project serving refugees and migrants population)<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Refugee and Migration Law (Asylum regulations and procedures, Relocation Scheme, Dublin procedures)<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of criminal law<\/li>\n<li>Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity<\/li>\n<li>Awareness and ability to work with survivors of gender-based violence, including the sensitivities and confidentiality measures involved<\/li>\n<li>High professional ethics, including strict client confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Dedication to promoting gender equality and understanding of the different vulnerabilities, needs and capacities of men, women, boys, and girls<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Well-organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good inter-personal, team-working, and communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Native in Greek<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English (both written and spoken)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working Experience in Field entry points, Camps\/Temporary Settlement or mobile units serving refugee population<\/li>\n<li>Proven Engagement in Refugee Focused Projects<\/li>\n<li>Previous working experience with local or international NGOs and \/or supervising legal teams will be considered as a strong advantage<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of French language<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please fill send your CV and motivation letter to <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> by <strong>Wednesday, January 31, 2018<\/strong>, mentioning in the email subject <strong>\u201cSN ASC Lawyer_Athens<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
