{"id":6151,"date":"2018-10-23T10:31:00","date_gmt":"2018-10-23T10:31:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=6151"},"modified":"2018-10-23T10:31:00","modified_gmt":"2018-10-23T10:31:00","slug":"administrative-officer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/administrative-officer\/","title":{"rendered":"Administrative Officer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Position: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Administrative Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Location<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Athens<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting Date<\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0 ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Full Time for <strong><u>9<\/u><\/strong> months<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Business4YOUth Project Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"104\"><strong>Level 2<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"449\">The job holder will have sporadic contact with children<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Administrative Officer will support a dynamic livelihoods project aimed at empowering vulnerable youth through business skills and entrepreneurship trainings.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall project administrative support<\/li>\n<li>Project data collection and monitoring<\/li>\n<li>Managing the project mailbox and responding to interested applicants<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance of candidates\u2019 database<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing the smooth implementation of the training classes through daily follow-ups with students and teachers<\/li>\n<li>Following up with students\u2019 requirements relating to the course<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are available for the training<\/li>\n<li>Provision of information on the program to interested candidates<\/li>\n<li>Scheduling and carrying out interviews<\/li>\n<li>Coordination with project partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Necessary qualifications:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience in an Administrative position or Project Management.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven administrative support experience under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of English and Greek<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of responsibility and high attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under limited supervision, and ability to take initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use Microsoft Office Tools, (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Desirable qualifications:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience working with vulnerable groups and refugee populations is an asset<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in the NGO\/humanitarian sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your <u>CV and motivation letter in English<\/u> to <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject \u201c<strong>SN_AdminOfficer<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
