Generic responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Provide after-school Math and Science<\/strong> classes according to refugee and migrant population needs<\/li>\n
  2. Expand and build on the existing educational curriculum, targeting and addressing the needs of different age groups of children and youth<\/li>\n
  3. Provide homework support for the children who attend formal education<\/li>\n
  4. Oversee distributions of teaching and learning material according to the population\u2019s needs<\/li>\n
  5. Update and maintain effective workplans<\/li>\n
  6. Ensure on-going monitoring, tracking and reporting of classes<\/li>\n
  7. Develop and maintain effective filing systems, both electronic and hardcopy<\/li>\n
  8. Support education, recreational and various activities<\/li>\n
  9. Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and facilitate access to available aid<\/li>\n
  10. Engage with parents, schools and communities in order to improve attendance and address students\u2019 needs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Degree \u2013 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mathematics\/Science (eg Physics, Chemistry or any other relevant field<\/li>\n
    • Excellent Greek <\/strong>and preferably English<\/li>\n
    • At least 1 year of professional experience in educational programs for refugees or rural\/vulnerable communities<\/li>\n
    • Strong analytical and administrative skills in the management of educational programs and mainly primary education<\/li>\n
    • Excellent Computer skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Masters or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Intercultural Education will be an advantage<\/li>\n
      • Experience teaching non-native speakers<\/li>\n
      • Proven knowledge of training, curriculum development, implementation and educational administration<\/li>\n
      • Experience in training of trainers\/facilitators skills<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of report writing<\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of Arabic or Farsi will be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
