Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Interpretation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Provide interpretation of Business and soft skills training sessions from English to Arabic for two weeks at a time<\/li>\n
  • Provide interpretation for interviews during selection process of training participants<\/li>\n
  • Ensure smooth interaction between beneficiaries (and trainer) while classes, briefings or sessions are conducted<\/li>\n
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with trainers and project staff regarding content of training<\/li>\n
  • Ensure accurate information is transferred to the beneficiaries in an understandable and culturally acceptable way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Translation<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Translate communication from English to Arabic and back (emails, whatsapp messages).<\/li>\n
    • Translate texts and documents of informational or promotional nature.<\/li>\n
    • Translate Business Model Canvases from Arabic to English or any other tasks assigned to training participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Other Duties<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Provide clear and accurate interpretation in Mentoring sessions of students selected to follow mentoring and interpret the 16 hours.<\/li>\n
      • Participate in outreach or promotion of the programme when required<\/li>\n
      • Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities among beneficiaries and facilitate their access to available aid<\/li>\n
      • In charge of the daily attendance and signatures of all participants<\/li>\n
      • Brief and debrief beneficiaries for running programs availability and inform ofany relevant change<\/li>\n
      • Participate occasionally in \u2018extracurricular\u2019 activities and events i.e. graduation ceremony for Business4YOUth participants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Required qualifications and skills<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

        • Fluent in Arabic<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
            \n
          • Excellent written communication and translation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            • Attention to\u00a0detail<\/li>\n
            • Strong professional ethics<\/li>\n
            • Previous Experience in Relevant Position Familiar with Refugee and Migration Issues (Asylum processes, Relocation)<\/li>\n
            • Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n
            • Computer literate & numerate<\/li>\n
            • Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n
            • Good interpersonal & communications skills<\/li>\n
            • Fluent in English<\/li>\n
            • Strong team player and ability to take initiative when needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              \u00a0<\/strong>Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n

                \n
              • Proven Engagement in Refugee Focused Projects (e.g Assessments, Surveys, Missions in Islands or at the borders).<\/li>\n
              • Experience or background in business or entrepreneurship field, either relevant studies, previous employment in business management\/as an entrepreneur, or participation in business related trainings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
