{"id":6627,"date":"2019-02-26T10:25:46","date_gmt":"2019-02-26T10:25:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=6627"},"modified":"2019-02-26T10:25:46","modified_gmt":"2019-02-26T10:25:46","slug":"it-officer-part-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/it-officer-part-time\/","title":{"rendered":"IT OFFICER (PART-TIME)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>User support (PCs, printers, scanners, Office 2016, web browsers, Windows 10, Office 365, email, Internet access)<\/li>\n<li>Installing and configuring Windows 10 systems<\/li>\n<li>Installing and configuring Office 2016 applications<\/li>\n<li>Take ownership of user\u2019s issues reported and follow problems through to resolution<\/li>\n<li>Document knowledge in the form of knowledge base tech notes and articles<\/li>\n<li>Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks<\/li>\n<li>Setting up new users\u2019 accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the roll-out of new applications<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults<\/li>\n<li>Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve user issue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements &amp; Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Basic knowledge\u00a0 TCP\/IP and other networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, NAT, firewalling, routing, switching)<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of the two network types (LAN, WAN) and related networking concepts<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge of Windows 10 and general computer support issues<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of Office 2016, Active Directory, Office 365, and Windows 10<\/li>\n<li>A solid understanding of how software and operating systems work<\/li>\n<li>A solid understanding of how computer networks work<\/li>\n<li>Team player<\/li>\n<li>Good problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your\u00a0<u>CV and motivation letter in English<\/u>\u00a0to recruitment@solidaritynow.org mentioning in the subject line of the email subject \u201cSN Logistic Officer\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
