Accommodation Supervisor works closely with Programs, Operations and Finance Department.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To ensure equipment is efficiently and effectively operated, make repairments as necessary and report defects and malfunctions to the Operations.<\/li>\n<li>To clean light fittings and to test lighting systems weekly replacing where necessary minor parts such as bulbs, in accordance with safe working practices.<\/li>\n<li>To maintain appropriate records including repair orders etc.<\/li>\n<li>To supervise and report emergencies in the case of faults with gas, electric and water supply and inform the Team Leader and Operations.<\/li>\n<li>Perform maintenance and light repairs, routine landscaping on the grounds.<\/li>\n<li>Repair equipment or appliances.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and report the need for major repairs.<\/li>\n<li>To undertake handypersons duties as directed by the Operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Job Requirements \/\u00a0Skills Required<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Degree from Technical Institutions will be considered an asset.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing etc.<\/li>\n<li>Basic math skills.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication ability.<\/li>\n<li>Greek and English speaker<\/li>\n<li>Well-organized and apt in problem-solving.<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the email subject \u201c<strong>SN Accommodation Supervisor_Thessaloniki<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
