{"id":7811,"date":"2019-11-04T09:02:06","date_gmt":"2019-11-04T09:02:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=7811"},"modified":"2019-11-04T09:02:06","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T09:02:06","slug":"interpreter-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/interpreter-15\/","title":{"rendered":"Interpreter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting Date:<strong> ASAP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Status:<strong>\u00a0 Full Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Child Safeguarding Policy:<strong> Level 3 &#8211; The job holder will have regular contact with children<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Languages:<strong>\u00a0Fluent in Farsi and Greek<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Responsibilities<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Interpretation<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interpretation for beneficiaries and staff during one to one consultations or information sessions<\/li>\n<li>Ensure accurate and precise information is passed to the beneficiaries in an understandable and culturally appropriate manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Data base and Case related info management<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Filing and registering all cases and actions in a database as instructed by supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain up to date hard and electronic archives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Other Duties<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in field trips, visits and assessments as requested by supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Brief beneficiaries on running programs and inform for any relevant changes.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the identification of vulnerabilities and facilitate beneficiaries\u2019 access to available support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><u>Essential<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluent in\u00a0<strong><u>Farsi and\u00a0Greek and\/or English<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Previous Experience in relevant position<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with refugee and migration Issues<\/li>\n<li>Cross cultural awareness and understanding<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy &amp; numeracy<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal &amp; communications skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Desired<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field work experience e.g., in camps or temporary settlements<\/li>\n<li>Interest and experience to work with vulnerable groups<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit in a single document their Resume\/CV with an introductory text in English to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> by\u00a0<strong><u>November 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cFarsi Interpreter_Athens\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
