{"id":7957,"date":"2019-12-20T10:32:12","date_gmt":"2019-12-20T10:32:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=7957"},"modified":"2019-12-20T10:40:46","modified_gmt":"2019-12-20T10:40:46","slug":"integration-learning-center-ilc-coordinator-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/integration-learning-center-ilc-coordinator-3\/","title":{"rendered":"INTEGRATION LEARNING CENTER (ILC) COORDINATOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date:<\/strong>\u00a0ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0 Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy: Level 3 \u2013 <\/strong>The job holder will have regular contact with children<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Reports To: <\/strong>Project Coordinator<\/h4>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates the Center\u2019s operation on a daily basis and supervises the Center\u2019s staff.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for the daily schedule of staff, planning and conducting of classes, supervision of the Child Friendly Space (CFS) and reception of the Center.<\/li>\n<li>Mediates conflicts that arise among staff members and beneficiaries\/ students.<\/li>\n<li>Plans and participates in HR processes such as recruitment, training, briefings, evaluation and development of staff.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the development of management, logistics, administrative and monitoring tools and techniques for staff members.<\/li>\n<li>Produces progress, activity and other reports as per request and ensures that all project reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner.<\/li>\n<li>Performs regular meetings with the team and represents ILC and SN in internal and external meetings\/working groups.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains liaison and collaborative relationships with authorities, local actors and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees the maintenance, purchases, storage &amp; safety of the premises.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in field trips and assessments, as requested and directed by Project Coordinator.<\/li>\n<li>Undertakes any other tasks requested by the Project Coordinator when the need arises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree (preferably Master\u2019s) from an accredited academic institution, preferably in Education.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum two (2) years of experience in managerial\/ coordination position, preferably in the NGO\/humanitarian and\/or Education sector.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills, in person and over the phone.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience of successful administrative support in a fast-paced working environment<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English. Knowledge of Arabic\/Farsi will be highly appreciated.<\/li>\n<li>Strong sense of initiation, responsibility, ownership and excellent attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word business software.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable in managing multiple tasks, with a problem-solving attitude.<\/li>\n<li>Cross cultural awareness and flexibility.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative and at the same time as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to organize and prioritize workload, using initiative when appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cILC Coordinator_Thessaloniki\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
