{"id":8096,"date":"2019-12-02T12:41:14","date_gmt":"2019-12-02T12:41:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=8096"},"modified":"2020-01-20T12:43:58","modified_gmt":"2020-01-20T12:43:58","slug":"youth-center-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/youth-center-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Center Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting Date:<strong> ASAP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Status:<strong>\u00a0 Full Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Child Safeguarding Policy:<strong> Level 2<\/strong> &#8211; The job holder will sporadic contact with children<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To <\/strong>the Project Coordinator<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Youth Center Manager is aiming at supporting the young PoCs (18 -22) living at the Youth Shelter towards independent life<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess needs of PoCs accommodated in the Youth Shelter and provide psychosocial support<\/li>\n<li>Performs necessary administrative tasks (approval of annual\/ sick leaves, draft PRs )<\/li>\n<li>Monitor technical status of Youth Shelter and liaise with the relevant services accordingly for its appropriate maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with the Project Coordinator, all the teams within the project and other departments in order to ensure the smooth implementation of the project<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings and represent the organization<\/li>\n<li>Draft reports on monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and network with all relevant actors in the field<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other tasks requested by the donor\/ Project Coordinator\/ organization<\/li>\n<li>Be aware and follow up certain donor or organizational commitments related to the implementation of the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree from an accredited academic in in Political or Social Sciences, Law, Human Rights, International Relations, Administration or other relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience in coordination positions in humanitarian context;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with IOs, NGOs as well as with governmental and local authorities;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent capacities in word and excel processing and drafting in English and Greek;<\/li>\n<li>Good knowledge and competence of IT applications and software;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work on own initiative and at the same time as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to organize and priorities workload, using initiative when appropriate;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> not later than by\u00a0<strong>13\/12\/2019 <\/strong>mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cYouth Center Manager_ Athens\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
