{"id":8261,"date":"2020-03-03T13:29:51","date_gmt":"2020-03-03T13:29:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=8261"},"modified":"2020-03-03T13:30:33","modified_gmt":"2020-03-03T13:30:33","slug":"accompaniment-focal-point-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/accompaniment-focal-point-10\/","title":{"rendered":"ACCOMPANIMENT FOCAL POINT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date:<\/strong>\u00a0ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0 Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy: Level 3 \u2013 <\/strong>The job holder will have regular contact with children<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Team Leader<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Accompaniment focal point <\/strong>is responsible for accompanying beneficiaries to services when necessary and agreed by Team Leader, to facilitate personal needs and identify critical gaps in the response and provision of services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Assist and support SN beneficiaries<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Work proactively and effectively with SN groups to maximize the benefits for refugees in relation to prevention and response<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with Project Coordinators and SN Legal team to assist in advocacy outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Proactively provide an alternate course of action and contingency plans if necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent use (both oral &amp; written) of GREEK and ENGLISH language<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a relevant context<\/li>\n<li>Protection and medical background<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in projects working with vulnerable groups<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well with a cross-cultural team including interpreters<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to strict deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Very good understanding of human rights, global poverty &amp; development issues<\/li>\n<li>Academic degree in humanitarian (Social science, Education, Medicine or another related field)<\/li>\n<li>First aid knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0 <a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cAccompaniment focal point _ Ioannina\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
