A Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is monitoring and evaluating SN-implemented programmes, is supporting data analysis and participating in relevant research. The Monitoring &amp; Evaluation officer sits between the Programmes and Advocacy Departments, forging a link between the two and drawing relevant information from one to drive work in the latter. The Monitoring &amp; Evaluation officer will facilitate the achievement of project objectives through monitoring and reporting on project activities and providing technical guidance and advice to Solidarity Now\u2019s staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities and Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect, update and maintain all stakeholder\u2019s data in a safe &amp; confidential format in line with SN\u2019s data protection requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the design of monitoring &amp; evaluation systems and tools<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the capacity building and training of SN staff in monitoring tools.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct primary data collection, including interviews, surveys, and focus group discussions, as required by SN programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse data and measures SN\u2019s achievements against set goals per program<\/li>\n<li>Ensure data quality and manage data according to internal and donor standards.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake any other duties as requested by the Programs Department and\/or the M&amp;E Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements \/\u00a0Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in relevant field (e.g., Humanities, Education, Political Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Statistics and\/or related field).<\/li>\n<li>Sound knowledge and experience of NGO program cycle management<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and knowledge of the humanitarian context and civil society environment in Greece.<\/li>\n<li>High computer literacy especially EXCEL (SPSS or another statistical package would be a plus)<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods.<\/li>\n<li>Database management experience (ideally knowledge of CRM systems)<\/li>\n<li>Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and plan<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take on new initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English, proficiency in other languages desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Field experience working with refugees\/migrants and\/or other vulnerable groups would be appreciated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit in a single document their Resume\/CV with an introductory text in English to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> by\u00a0<strong><u>May <\/u><\/strong><strong><u>8<sup>th<\/sup>, 2020<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201cMonitoring and Evaluation Officer\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
