{"id":9373,"date":"2020-09-25T06:56:23","date_gmt":"2020-09-25T06:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=9373"},"modified":"2020-09-25T06:56:23","modified_gmt":"2020-09-25T06:56:23","slug":"social-worker-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/social-worker-13\/","title":{"rendered":"SOCIAL WORKER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date<\/strong>: ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status<\/strong>:\u00a0 Full- time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<table width=\"676\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"118\"><strong>Level <\/strong><strong>3<\/strong><\/td>\n<td width=\"558\">The job holder will have regular contact with children<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>Position Summary<\/strong>: The Social Worker is expected to provide psychosocial support, assess the needs, ensure proper case management for beneficiaries or referred beneficiaries while identifying vulnerabilities as to link up eligible cases with support and aid available<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position within the Organization:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hierarchical Responsible: TSC Project Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Social Services Provision<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide comprehensive package of Social Services to all.<\/li>\n<li>Assess needs of beneficiaries and develop an intervention\/pathway plan ensuring special needs of most vulnerable are identified and addressed<\/li>\n<li>Provide adequate information on available services and relevant procedures<\/li>\n<li>Provide comprehensive package of Social Services to the beneficiaries in (and if requested out) of TSC Premises<\/li>\n<li>Providing F2F Counseling, Guidance<\/li>\n<li>Ensure referrals internally and externally and follow up on referrals whilst always respecting confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Identify particularly vulnerable individuals\/groups and facilitate their access to available aid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0Data base and Case related info management<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brief and Full Social History taking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0Other Duties<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate other actor in the area (public sector, NGOs and INGOs) to link the beneficiary with the services needed<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive case plan for beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li>Organize group activities for beneficiaries aiming to their empowerment<\/li>\n<li>Promote community engagement through structured activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Essential<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Social Workers Degree<\/li>\n<li>Social Workers Permission of Work<\/li>\n<li>3 years\u2019 experience in Relevant Position<\/li>\n<li>Cross Cultural Awareness and flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate &amp; numerate<\/li>\n<li>Well organized and efficient<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal &amp; communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Native in Greek<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English (both written and spoken)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field Working Experience entry points, Camps\/Temporary Settlement or mobile units serving refugee population<\/li>\n<li>Familiar with Refugee and Migration Issues (Asylum processes)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your\u00a0<u>CV and motivation letter in English<\/u>\u00a0to <a href=\"mailto:thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">thes-recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a> mentioning in the subject line of the email subject \u201c<strong>TSC_Social Worker<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
