To find her mother. To get back to school. To start a new life. Will the world let her? Can she achieve what now seems more impossible than ever?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Following the phenomenal international success of\u00a0<em>The Jungle<\/em>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.walkwithamal.org\/about-us\/good-chance\/\"><strong>Good Chance<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0in collaboration with world-famous creators of\u00a0<em>War Horse<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.walkwithamal.org\/about-us\/handspring\/\"><strong>Handspring Puppet Company<\/strong><\/a>, will present its most extraordinary work yet:\u00a0<em>The Walk<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 a travelling festival of art and hope in support of refugees, with Artistic Direction from\u00a0<strong>Amir Nizar Zuabi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, from the Syria-Turkey border all the way to the UK,\u00a0<em>The Walk<\/em>\u00a0will bring together celebrated artists, major cultural institutions, community groups and humanitarian organisations to create one of the most innovative and adventurous public artworks ever attempted.<\/p>\n<p>At the heart of\u00a0<em>The Walk<\/em>\u00a0is \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.walkwithamal.org\/about-us\/little-amal\/\"><strong>Little Amal<\/strong><\/a>\u2019, a 3.5 metre-tall puppet of a young refugee girl, created by the acclaimed Handspring Puppet Company. Representing all displaced children, many separated from their families, Little Amal will travel over 8,000km embodying the urgent message \u201cDon\u2019t forget about us\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>At this time of unprecedented global change,\u00a0<em>The Walk<\/em>\u00a0is an extraordinary artistic response: a cultural odyssey transcending borders, politics and language to tell a new story of shared humanity \u2013 and to ensure the world doesn\u2019t forget the millions of displaced children, each with their own story, who are more vulnerable than ever during the global pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Little Amal urgently needs your help to advocate for and support young refugees.
