{"id":9704,"date":"2020-11-04T14:55:09","date_gmt":"2020-11-04T14:55:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=9704"},"modified":"2020-11-04T14:55:09","modified_gmt":"2020-11-04T14:55:09","slug":"mother-toddler-space-facilitator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/mother-toddler-space-facilitator\/","title":{"rendered":"MOTHER &#038; TODDLER SPACE FACILITATOR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date:<\/strong>\u00a0ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0 Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy: <\/strong>Level 3 \u2013 The job holder will have regular contact with children<\/p>\n<p><strong>Generic responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure a safe and child-friendly atmosphere for the toddlers, who visit ILC with their parents<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a variety of games and activities within the classroom, catering to the needs of children aged between 0 and 2 years and respecting their gender, abilities and cultural background<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that children feel comfortable, safe, and respected<\/li>\n<li>Liaise\u00a0with\u00a0parents\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0community\u00a0regularly\u00a0to\u00a0keep\u00a0them\u00a0informed\u00a0of any developments or problems within the Child Friendly Space and surrounding areas<\/li>\n<li>Screen for and monitor protection needs and gaps in and around the Child Friendly Space<\/li>\n<li>Ensure recreational activities consistent with programme guidelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree\/Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Infant Care or relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Working experience with toddlers (aged between 0-2) and children 5-12<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in Greek and English.
