{"id":9849,"date":"2020-12-09T14:12:00","date_gmt":"2020-12-09T14:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/?p=9849"},"modified":"2020-12-09T14:13:26","modified_gmt":"2020-12-09T14:13:26","slug":"english-greek-language-educational-officer-integration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.solidaritynow.org\/en\/english-greek-language-educational-officer-integration\/","title":{"rendered":"[:en]GREEK LANGUAGE EDUCATIONAL OFFICER\/ INTEGRATION[:]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Starting Date:<\/strong>\u00a0ASAP<\/p>\n<p><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0 Full Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Child Safeguarding Policy: <\/strong>Level 3 \u2013 The job holder will have regular contact with children<\/p>\n<p><strong>Generic responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides Greek language classes for adult beneficiaries of international protection residing in urban areas<\/li>\n<li>Collaborates with other teachers and contributes to the creation of educational materials related to the integration of beneficiaries of international protection.<\/li>\n<li>Creates materials for classes (lesson plans) and monitors the progress of students<\/li>\n<li>Oversees distributions of teaching and learning materials according to the beneficiaries\u2019 needs<\/li>\n<li>Ensures on-going monitoring, tracking and reporting of classes<\/li>\n<li>Develops and maintains effective filing systems, both electronic and hardcopy<\/li>\n<li>Supports soft skills education and implementation of outdoor activities linked to the curriculum of the programme<\/li>\n<li>Prepares the project beneficiaries for the Greek language examinations targeted at the certification of different levels of proficiency in the use of the Greek language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent Greek and English<\/li>\n<li>Degree \u2013 Bachelor degree in primary education or Greek philology<\/li>\n<li>Certification of the\u00a0teaching\u00a0qualification\u00a0of Trainers\u00a0for Adults in non-formal education (attributed by National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications &amp; Vocational Guidance)<\/li>\n<li>Proven knowledge of training, curriculum development and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Experience in report writing and excellent computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience teaching Greek as a second or foreign language will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree in teaching Greek as a second or foreign language or Intercultural Education or any other relevant field will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience in training of trainers\/facilitators skills will be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are interested in applying, please send your CV and motivation letter to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:recruitment@solidaritynow.org\">recruitment@solidaritynow.org<\/a>\u00a0mentioning in the email subject\u00a0<strong>\u201c<\/strong>SN Greek Language Educational Officer\/ Integration_Athens\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>SN is an equal opportunity employer.
