Position: HR Manager
Location: Athens (Nationwide Travel might be requested)
Starting Date: ASAP
Status: Full Time
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall strategy
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system
- Work alongside other departments
- Assess training needs and manage implementation of training programs
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR
- Administers employees’ benefits programs, such as health plan
- Coordinates Health and Safety Policy
- Prepares budget of human resources operations, in collaboration with Accounting Department.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
- Prepares reports
- Represents organization at personnel-related hearings
Requirements
- At least University degree in a related field (M.B.A or Master’s degree will be considered as an asset)
- Proven working experience as HR manager for at least 10 years.
- Strong Knowledge of Payroll Procedures
- Knowledge of ERGANI System
- In-depth knowledge of Greek labor law and HR best practices
- Knowledge of LAEK 0,45
- Knowledge of HRM ERPS (Preferably Pylon-EpsilonNet)
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- People oriented, team player and results driven
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
